Job Brief

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on HR Generalist to join Paybis in our Riga office.With 140+ employees, our HR team needs an experienced professional who can drive recruitment, enhance employee engagement, and ensure HR compliance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, onboarding and offboarding processes, employee relations, and HR policy implementation. They will play a key role in fostering a strong company culture, supporting professional development initiatives, and improving internal HR processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Support corporate culture by organizing internal events and engagement activities.
  • Assist in designing and implementing training programs for employee growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with Latvian labor laws and company policies.
  • Manage HR documentation, contracts, benefits administration, and HR systems.
  • Actively participate in the HR processes improvements.
  • Handle employee relations matters, conduct one-on-one meetings, and drive engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or Recruiter.
  • Strong expertise in talent acquisition and HR operations.
  • Experience in fostering company culture and organizing internal events.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and solve challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and Russian; knowledge of Latvian is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Latvian labor laws.
  • Experience in IT, fintech, or startups is a plus.
