About CNM

At the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), we train people to become health professionals in Natural Therapies. CNM educates students on Natural Therapies such as Naturopathic Nutrition, Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture, Homeopathy and Health Coach. CNM also provides training on the Natural Chef and Vegan Chef Diplomas. Additionally, CNM offers a wide range of Short Courses and Postgraduate Courses.


About the role:

We are currently looking to recruit a personable and professional receptionist to join our Head Office team in East Grinstead.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and requires a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to liaise effectively with the general public and the CNM team.

The suitable candidate will be integral to the smooth day-to-day running of the business and the continued success of the company.


Duties will include:

  • Answering all incoming calls and directing as appropriate, also taking accurate messages.
  • Transferring callers to the correct member of the team with concise information.
  • Showing excellent telephone manner at all times, with the ability to speak and type simultaneously.
  • Maintaining a high standard of customer service skills to ensure the image of the College is upheld.
  • Discussing basic details of our courses with new callers.
  • Updating contact details on our internal database quickly and accurately.
  • Sending out information packs to new enquirers.
  • Managing all incoming enquiry emails and forwarding them to the relevant team member immediately.
  • Updating company diaries and event listings as necessary.
  • Meeting and greeting all Head Office visitors.
  • Taking responsibility for all administrative work, including printing and scanning.
  • Managing all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.


Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills both on the phone and face to face.
  • Ability to work in a telephone-based role with good administrative skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • An interest in natural health is highly desirable.
  • Ability to multitask.
