The Offshore Wind sector in the US is entering a period of rapid expansion, powered by the recent Inflation Reduction Act and new commitments in Massachusetts, California and the Gulf of Mexico. This growth is good news for our Offshore Renewables team in the US: we deliver complex recruitment projects and search campaigns for both emerging and established offshore wind project developers. Having placed specialists on almost all of the key US based offshore wind farms, we are busier than ever – and we are seeing a huge increase in demand for our services.

Our office in Boston serves as a crucial hub for our Offshore Renewables recruitment solutions in the rapidly growing market within the Americas region.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to consistently develop existing & new candidate networks and client relationships, work in specialist market verticals to become the go-to individual and subject matter expert within your chosen markets and make a meaningful impact on your career, your team and more widely on the transition to renewable energy.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Develop relationships with new and existing candidates and clients and networking through to map specific vertical markets and become a go-to player/subject matter expert in this field
• Share market information with colleagues globally
• Mentor Research Consultants and Consultants, maintain open communication with other team members to share information, utilise candidate pipeline generated and contribute qualified open roles to the team pipeline
• Record activity appropriately on Bullhorn/CRM systems

Must-have's

• Experience in an agency recruitment role (preferred) or in-house talent acquisition to successfully play an experienced 360 recruiter, business development or account management role
• A genuine interest in the renewables sector and a real ambition to become an expert in your field
• An energetic and positive approach to work, with a passion to foster strong relationships and develop networks
• A strong communicator who can understand and discuss technical aspects of roles with colleagues and candidates
• A willingness to share your knowledge and build relationships internally and externally

Nice-to-have's

• Renewables or energy experience
• Management, leadership or mentoring experience
• Fluency in additional languages, preferably Spanish
