Financial Controller

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, and developing internal control policies and procedures while contributing to strategic planning and financial decision-making.

Your responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting and analysis at the group level
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies for Latvian entities
• Implement and maintain financial control systems and processes to improve efficiency on the group level
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Manage timely report submissions by local and international teams
• Analyze different financial and operational data, conclude the results and performance drivers to support management decisions
• Financial due diligence, analyzing potential acquisition targets, including financial modeling and valuation assessments
• Assist in communication with external auditors and provide the requested information for the audit process
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
• Assist in the development and execution of the company's financial strategies
• Identify and mitigate financial risks
• Maintenance of a unified chart of accounts and mapping across the group

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a financial management role, preferably in lending or financial services industry
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Implementation of reporting tool will be considered as an advantage
• Proficiency in Polish and English and both spoken and written
