intent.ly is looking for a Technical Pre-Sales Associate to join the team in their London HQ. In this role, you'll be working hand-in-hand with the new business team to understand customer technical requirements and by understanding these capabilities, design solutions that meet their needs from intent.ly’s technology and product suite.


The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy customer engagement and will be comfortable exploring a broad range of use cases and designing solutions that fit. You will thrive in becoming a trusted technical adviser to our customers as they adopt intent.ly’s products, guiding them through the technical nuances of enabling our technology within their own environments.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:


  • Working hand-in-hand with the intent.ly sales team to provide technical expertise, with a shared goal of winning new customers.
  • Becoming an intent.ly product expert - understanding our products and technology stack in some serious depth.
  • Understanding customers’ technical requirements and architecting solutions that satisfy their needs and deliver business value.
  • Building and demonstrating solutions built on intent.y’s technology.
  • Taking responsibility for the technical and functional elements of customer RFP and supplier security checklist responses.
  • Helping to drive greater customer adoption and satisfaction by championing customer technical feedback internally, especially with product teams;


To be effective in this role you should:


  • Have experience in a technical client-facing role (ideally pre-sales) within †a SaaS company.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in dealing with clients to articulate technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
  • Be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, fast-growing environment - at times working on initiatives beyond the scope of your core role.
  • Be willing to (and enjoy) sweating the small stuff. Detail is key in the pre-sales role, so attention to detail is of paramount importance.
  • Be highly-effective at managing your time.
  • Have some level of past programming experience, preferably Javascript or front and backend web development.


You'll be working closely with our Head of Business Development, and will be responsible for designing and implementing systems and processes to enable the Commercial team to move more quickly as we grow our sales volumes and team size. You'll be working on practices that support us as we scale, becoming an expert in our internal tools. We're highly ambitious, and we hope that you are too. You're likely to be a fast learner, curious, and able to identify how and where improvements can be made.
