Paybis is on the hunt for a versatile and dynamic BI Lead, someone who is ready to wear multiple hats in the ever-evolving realm of Business Intelligence. In this unique role, you will be the driving force behind our BI initiatives, building the state-of-the-art BI solution almost from scratch.

As the BI Lead, your day might oscillate between crafting insightful dashboards, architecting robust data pipelines, and guiding our dedicated pair of data analysts. This isn't your everyday BI position – you'll be at the epicenter of action, shaping the BI strategy and getting hands-on with data, all while mentoring and leading the charge, having Devops and Architecture teams covering your back from the infrastructure & technology side.

The ideal candidate is proactive, enjoys challenges, is hungry for autonomy and at the same time is able to efficiently collaborate closely with stakeholders from business and IT units translating business needs into actionable BI solutions. Primary Role as BI Lead:

• Strategic Leadership: Set the BI direction and ensure alignment with the organization's goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate with other business units, gather requirements, and prioritize BI projects.
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
• Vendor Management: If tools or services need to be outsourced.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Dive deep into data, uncovering patterns, insights, and trends. This includes analyzing payment metrics, transactional data, and conversion ratios.
• Platform Analytics: Evaluate the performance of different platforms, understanding the behavior and preferences of our users.
• Customer Behavior Tracking: Utilize advanced tools to review customer sessions, understand user behaviors, and suggest improvements.
• Business Operations Intelligence: Respond to ad hoc data requests and build automations that streamline vital processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of BI analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality analytical outputs.

Additional Role as BI Developer/Data Engineer

• BI Tech: Analyse organizational needs and lead the selection and implementation of the required technology stack for modern BI Solution
• BI Development: Lead and train your team members on designing and developing dashboards, reports, and other visualization tools
• Data Engineering: Design and manage ETL processes, integrate data from multiple sources.
• Quality Assurance: With the help from IT Teams, test and validate BI solutions for accuracy.
• Infrastructure Management: Together with Devops team oversee cloud infrastructure for BI tools.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• A proven track record in BI with leadership experience.
• Mastery of BI tools and technologies.
• Ability to translate complex data into understandable insights for a diverse audience.
