YOUR CHALLENGE

As an important member of the SmartLynx Airlines team, you will lead the strategy development and continuous improvement deployment for Operational Excellence across the company.

You will manage the Operational Excellence function providing policy deployment and lean operating systems structure to meet the company’s short and long-term goals for improved quality performance, increased service levels and reduced costs, and contributing to operational efficiency improvements.

The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for building company goals and execution plans in support of the Management Board and other support functions within the company.

Close working relationships and consensus-building are required with all management staff.


You will:


  • Establish and maintain a company culture of continuous improvement and Operational Excellence;
  • Will assess and review processes in the company to make them more efficient;
  • Lead company-wide cost reduction program;
  • Manage short and long term vision and execution plans for the Operational Excellence function;
  • Manage Operational Excellence programs and efforts at the company for short and long-term goals achievement assuring culture and systems development in support of continuous improvement in cost and quality performance;
  • Manage Operational Excellence training programs and events throughout the company assuring training and events support company goals for continuous improvement.

EXPECTED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Solid understanding of process management systems (Lean /Six Sigma/PMI ) and working experience in the application of such processes;
  • Experience in process improvement and cost savings success;
  • Ability to manage cross-functionally with direct and indirect influence;
  • Ability to Coach and facilitate individually and at the large scale level;
  • Advanced skills in statistical software packages;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities under pressure, and challenging interactions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
