SHORT DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a knowledgeable lawyer with experience in gambling to join our Riga team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Documentary support of several legal entities of the company;
  • Keeping contracts (internal and with clients) up to date;
  • Research & Development (research activities to minimize company risks upon request);
  • Assistance in personal matters of individuals;
  • Coordination of the work of external contractors on legal issues;
  • Legal support in building the financial logistics of an enterprise;
  • Getting (obtain) new licenses and product certifications;
  • Accompanying the signing of contracts with clients and partners, to be a business representative.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Perfect knowledge of English (spoken and written);
  • At least a master’s degree in law;
  • Knowledge and understanding of international and civil law;
  • Experience in gambling (at least 1 year). Good understanding of the industry, a clear understanding of the upcoming processes related to contracts, licenses, and restrictions;
  • Experience in obtaining at least one license for a company (for example, European) B2B / B2C or participation in the preparation/research/development process;
  • Experience in organizing documents for different legal entities.


WILL BE A PLUS

  • Knowledge of tax law in the following jurisdictions: Latvia, Malta, Great Britain, Sweden, Germany, Curacao, Latin America region, Asia - Philippines, China;
  • AML experience in international companies and experience in opening corporate accounts in financial institutions;
  • Participation in audits for foreign companies;
  • Knowledge/experience with intellectual property issues;
  • Experience with labor legislation in various jurisdictions.
