Account Relationship Manager

Full-time, permanent

£35,000 per annum - £40,000 per annum and home working allowance

Based: Home working and office

Hood Group is a dynamic, forward thinking customer management business that provides outsourced customer services for well-known UK trusted brands such as John Lewis & Partners, Ticker Insurance, Virgin Money to name a few.

Reporting to the Residential Business Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between Hood Group and Virgin Money. Your mission is to cultivate long term client relationships, optimise profitability, and co-ordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver outstanding service and results.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth, enhance business retention, and contribute to the implementation of our joint strategy for Virgin Money and Hood Group.

What will I do in the role? 

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships as the lead point of contact for Virgin Money
• Optimise Virgin Money relationship through proactive support and collaboration
• Co-ordinate delivery of reports and management information for internal and external stakeholders
• Support pricing requirements and analyse product performance
• Arrange and lead partner review meetings, driving agenda and capturing action items
• Communicate progress of initiatives to stakeholders and identify growth opportunities
• Analyse competitive market landscape and share insights internally
• Advocate for partner requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions
• Monitor budget and forecast progress against targets
• Conduct regular market research and provide support for customer acquisition and retention activities
• Identify process enhancements and collaborate on implementation
• Manage workflows and ad-hoc projects assigned by the Residential Business Manager

What do I need?

• Proven experience in personal lines insurance, particularly home insurance products
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
• Strong organisational and planning abilities
• Sales and business development experience, with presentation skills
• Commercial acumen and understanding of broader business strategy
• Results driven mindset with flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to work independently while representing the Group Distribution function
• Track record of managing relationships in a B2B environment
