ServiceNow Developer / Analyst

Our ServiceNow practice is growing and as a ServiceNow Analyst you will actively engage with business stakeholders and project teams to provide analysis, solution design, configuration and optimisation to shape the development of their ServiceNow solution in line with the client's mission and strategy.

• Develop and customise ServiceNow applications and modules, including workflows, UI customization, and integration with third-party tools.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that optimise platform capabilities.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for ServiceNow capabilities and features.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Develop API and data integrations with external systems to automate workflows and processes.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure developed solutions meet requirements.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and address feedback effectively.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting.
• Provide training and support to end-users and administrators as needed.

Required:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), and configuration and an understanding of the right protocols.
• Experience in providing advisory services on cloud applications including aspects such as design, configuration, process and implementation (in-house or as a consultant)
• Demonstrated experience of identity, access and integration requirements
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills to interact with technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• Experience of 2+ product lines i.e. HR, ITSM or SPM
• Familiarity with database structures and relational database concepts (e.g., MySQL).
• Knowledge of ServiceNow APIs, web services, and integration methods (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with cloud platforms, ITIL/ITSM processes, and enterprise service management.
