Business Development Manager (ANZ) is an exciting, sought after and multi-award winning martech platform. We provide market leading customer conversion optimisation technology and we are looking for someone to join our rapidly expanding team as the new Business Development Manager with specific focus on developing’s revenue across Australia and New Zealand.

Job Overview 

The Business Development Manager role reporting into the General Manager APAC is responsible for speaking with online retailers with the sole objective of selling them’s market leading Conversion Rate Optimisation technology.  

Commercial awareness, negotiation skills and an ability to spot profitable sales opportunities are a must in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the whole sales process; prospecting, securing meetings, delivering presentations, demonstrating the technology and launching new brands on the platform.


You will also be encouraged to form partnerships with other tech partners and agencies to expand our partnership ecosystem. With this in return your understanding and authority within the e-commerce industry will grow and therefore be encouraged to help shape our product and brand within the APAC region.


Key Attributes

The successful candidate will;

  • Show a passion for digital marketing
  • Be able to spot an opportunity and sell an idea
  • Have 3+ years experience in a sales or business development role
  • Be sales driven, motivated and results orientated
  • Be a creative problem solver 
  • Have excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Show a keen attention to detail
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Understand the value of a well maintained CRM (we use hubspot)
  • Have regularly presented and sold to decision makers
  • Be a team player who is also able to work independently
  • Understand how to read, interpret, use and represent data to a 3rd party
  • Be eager to learn about and share new ideas
  • Have the ability to open up and develop a new market
  • Demonstrate proven client acquisition success with selling a digital technology within Australia 
  • Have a strong interest in the e-commerce industry



The successful candidate may also;

  • Have sold to (or for) advertising agencies
  • Have sold to (or for) affiliate marketing networks
  • Have sold to (or for) marketing technology company
  • Have experience of Hubspot
  • Be able to read HTML code and be able to explain what a JS tag is
  • Have sold into the New Zealand market
