JOB TITLE       EV Construction Coordinator

IMMEDIATE MANAGER   EV Development Manager

 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Securing Power to Site
  • Work with IDNOs, ICPs and energy consultants to secure HV Point of Connections (POCs)
  • Facilitate the exchange of information.
  • Checking and verifying documentation
  • Managing project allocations
  • Manage the pipeline of accepted point of connections (POCs) ensuring the components to successful energization are in place:
  • HV Earthing – arrange soil resistivity testing and earthing designs
  • Harmonic Assessments – Ensure relevant data is with iDNO/DNO
  • Legal Completion – co-ordinate Estates Surveyors to ensure wayleaves, easements and substation leases are completed on time
  • Coordinate ICP appointments; manage IDNO asset adoption agreements, electricity connection agreements and metering installation orders
  • Attend Weekly Meetings with our ICPs, minute and assign all actions.
  • Request and administer ICP and earthing quotes
  • Communicate with project managers and administer a handover pack to the PMs which will include the earthing contractor & design along with the ICP contractor & design.
  • Minute all actions from our internal and external legal teams to help in ensuring power connections are programmed correctly.
  • Minute all actions from our internal PM & external Architect meetings
  • Liaise with our Power Procurement Team to ensure updates for all future projects are administrated correctly.
  • Assist in ensuring ICPs, iDNOs and Earthing contractors are updated with the correct DWG files and re issue any design updates.
  • Ensure all EV Tec elements are populated and up to date within our EV Schedule.
  • Assist in updating Exec reports
  • Administrate contractor payments and report on committed spend V’s Actual Spend.

 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE DESIRED

 

  • Experience working within an ICP / IDNO / DNO / CPO preferable but not essential.
  • Experience managing large volume and technical workstreams.
  • Competent in using Excel

  • Must have relevant administrative experience
  • Strong communication skills

  • The ability to build good working relationships with work colleagues and external parties

  • Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong PC literacy including word and excel
