Powered by transformation research in APC, VLE Therapeutics Ltd was formed to extend the value chain and deliver science and digital led manufacturing of Vaccines and Advanced Therapeutics. VLE Therapeutics will support GMP clinical manufacturing of advanced therapeutics and aims to transform the time and cost associated to produce medicines for our clients. This will be the first Irish-owned facility expressly designed to provide Ireland and Europe with a local supply chain for these critical medicines.
To create the best client experience, we are creating and & implementing a seamless handover process from APC process development into GMP manufacturing, leveraging our novel platforms to deliver as a Medicine Accelerator. This is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to become involved in ATMP and related pharmaceutical developments.

Position Summary
A key member in supporting the execution of cGMP Supply Chain operational activities in VLE Therapeutic’s manufacturing facility. Responsible for managing all Supply Chain activities within the shipping and distribution lanes whilst supporting a proactive strategy to improve them, ensuring an optimum balance between cost and customer service to our site and clients. Part of a high performing team, managing the flow of materials through the supply chain in order to provide high quality products and on-time delivery to our customers, while supporting the continuing development of the supply chain. This person will also have responsibility for identifying and managing continuous improvement projects along with ‘hands on’ daily activities in support of the changing needs of the business.

High Level Responsibilities :
- SPOC for E2E SC requirements for each project, client & BUs. Establish open lines of communication and ensure that all team members have a direct contact for any supply chain-related questions or concerns.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the entire project.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop supply chain strategies to meet project goals. Participates in project meetings, including kickoff meetings, planning sessions, and status updates. They provide updates on supply chain activities, address any supply chain-related questions or issues, and gather information from other teams to ensure alignment.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, including pass thru budget cost savings.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, proactively addressing any issues that may impact project timelines or budget.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Sharing Information and updates keeping the cross-functional teams informed about the progress of supply chain activities. Provide regular updates on procurement status, inventory levels, delivery schedules, and any potential risks or delays
- Facilitates and encourages collaboration between the supply chain team and other teams. They facilitate discussions and information exchange to ensure that all teams are aligned on project goals and requirements. They promote cross-functional problem-solving and encourage teams to work together to address any supply chain-related challenges or issues that may arise
- Provide support and guidance to both the supply chain team and other teams on SME area. Act as a resource for any supply chain-related questions or concerns and provide guidance on supply chain best practices. Offer insights and recommendations to help teams overcome any supply chain-related obstacles and ensure project success including other supply chain services such as identifying off offsite store requirements, independent services.

- SC SME for audits as required
- Lead Be Green initiates onsite
Back up:
- GMP material management ( routine suite needs , cycle counting & management of VLE inventory including maintenance of GMP storage area
- QAD
- General site material management ( call backs, management of APC legacy inventory , daily queries, kanban MGT )
Experience and Education:
- Some formal education.
- Professional with some cGMP Pharma experience (7+ years' experience).
