WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • You will project manage the Entry into Service and Return off lease of the SmartLynx group Airlines in accordance with regulatory and company policies;
  • Provide project status reporting identifying risks and mitigating actions;
  • You will manage the requirements of the in-service aircraft lease contracts;
  • Prepare and manage fleet transition updates to the regulators and internal stakeholders;
  • Create and manage aircraft transition budgets, highlighting any budget opportunities and risks;
  • Maintain the Fleet management Entry into Service and Return Off Lease processes, ensuring a continuous improvement methodology;
  • Liaise with all internal stakeholders, including CAMO, Flight Operations, Compliance Monitoring, Ground operations, Operations Control and Maintenance Control to ensure a smooth aircraft transition;
  • Communicate the SmartLynx Airlines Fleet plan to the aviation authority, ensuring the authority is continually aware of the SmartLynx fleet plans;
  • Liaise with aircraft lessors to ensure the most efficient delivery/re-delivery process is achieved.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

  • You should be a university graduate;
  • You should have at least 3 years previous experience within the aviation industry, preferably airline experience, preferably in a technical capacity;
  • Sound knowledge of EASA regulations are essential for this role;
  • Good planning skills that go along with proper time management and flexibility;
  • Previous experience in project management is essential for this role;
  • You should have the ability to think from first principles and work well cross-functionally, including with other departments;
  • You should have the ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities under pressure, and challenging interactions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment;
  • You should be proficient with MS Office programs;
  • Excellent English language skills are essential for this role; 
  • You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and should be self-motivated;
  • Ability to see a broader picture of how your performance affects the business and make informed decisions.
