Senior Network Administrator

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Network Administrator to enhance and optimize our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level proficiency, strategic vision, and a passion for innovation, driving efficiency and technological advancements within our organization.

What you will do: 

• Administer, implement, and maintain the company’s networks in cloud and on-premises environments
• Resolve high-level networking issues
• Perform upgrades to network infrastructure
• Be responsible for the security and maintenance of all the company’s networks
• Configure and maintain networking devices (Cisco Meraki, Mikrotik)
• Configure and maintain Firewalls (Check Point, FortiGate)
• Configure and maintain cloud networks (Azure, AWS)
• Document the company’s network infrastructure
• Work with other teams to implement networking solutions for complex projects
• Propose and implement new solutions
• Ensure production network performance and continuity

What you will need: 

• Network firewall configuration experience 
• Cloud network administration experience 
• Expert level networking experience (TCP/IP, IPSEC, VPN, VLANs, Nat policies, Routes, DNS, VPC etc.) 
• Cloud networking experience (Azure, Aws)
• Experience in network documentation tools (Netbox or similar)
• Mikrotik configuration experience
• 5+ years experience in a similar position
• Security centric mindset
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English language
• Precision/Attention to details
• Good communication skills
• Ability to plan and work independently

Will be considered an advantage:

• Azure or AWS networking certifications
• Cisco Meraki or Mikrotik certifications
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Telephony system networking knowledge
• Linux networking knowledge
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, bash etc.)
• Latvian language skills
