Job Title:         Academic Programme Coordinator

Contract:  Permanent, full time (35 hours per week)

Salary/Benefits: £31,500-£33,500 per annum (dependent on experience), plus a comprehensive employee benefits package

Job Summary

London Film School is seeking an organised and proactive Academic Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of our world-leading postgraduate film programmes. Working closely with the Academic Programme Manager, Course Leaders and academic staff, you will play a key role in coordinating timetables, supporting academic administration, and ensuring an excellent experience for students, staff and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and creative environment at one of the world's most respected film schools.


What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate, maintain and deliver timetables across multiple academic programmes using timetabling systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact for academic programme enquiries, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Work closely with Course Leaders and academic staff to schedule classes, workshops, assessments, meetings and events.
  • Manage room bookings and resource allocation, balancing competing priorities across the School.
  • Support the maintenance of course information and resources within the Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle).
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of academic meetings, including agendas, papers and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support the effective delivery of teaching and learning activities.
