Description

Are you passionate about outdoor kit and equipment? Do you find yourself obsessing over a tent's packed weight, owning more skis or running shoes than you can count, or meticulously comparing the features of the latest gear?

If this sounds like you, we have an exciting opening for an Assistant Product Developer to join our own-brand equipment and hardgoods team. You will help research, design, and source product ranges, developing them from initial concept through to final sign-off. This is a role with real potential to shape new growth areas for our brands and make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development: Support the development of our own-brand hardware and equipment, meeting key business criteria for price, margin, quality, and delivery.

Project Management: Take ownership of multiple product projects, owning the development process from range selection and supplier negotiation, through to pre-production sign-off and photoshoots.

Market Research: Conduct and assist with market and competitor research to inform product design, brand positioning, and range plans.

Supplier Relations: Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with suppliers and factories, ensuring they adhere to our standards. Attend trade shows as required.

Quality Assurance: Meticulously measure and check samples at each stage, conducting trials and user testing to ensure products meet exact specifications and quality standards. Arrange product certification where required.
