About the role:

We are looking for a Service Technician to join and build our Service and Support department. As a talented service technician, you will be responsible for the internal final acceptance, troubleshooting, provisioning and commissioning of the simulators at our demanding customers' sites.

 

You are used to carrying out the work assigned to you independently, on time and with the highest level of quality. Team spirit is not just an empty phrase with us. An excellent proservice technician should always strive to improve efficiency productivity and the quality of the product. They contribute with suggestions and are open to change. 

 

Your strong willingness to travel, excellent communication skills and solid command of English round off your profile.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Quality assurance and testing of the simulators pre-assembled by the production; checking, testing and, if necessary, carry out corrective actions until the SIMs are ready for dispatch

·      Installation and commissioning at our customers home base

·      Carrying out repair work, upgrades and preventive maintenance tasks

·      Feedback recurring and new problems to engineering. Participate in finding solutions

·      Collaboration in the optimisation of lean production

·      Target-oriented and cooperative collaboration with neighbouring departments

·    Support of production during Assembly of electromechanical assemblies according to construction documents within the deadlines and quality requirements.

·      Efficient execution of assigned tasks

·      Compliance with all standards, laws and regulations



Requirements:

·      Completed apprenticeship in similar occupation.

·      A minimum of 2 years’ experience.

·      High level of flexibility & willingness to travel worldwide (up to 70%) 

·      Efficiency-driven character

·      Excellent communication skills.

·      Outstanding teamplayer with explorer mentality

·      Basis knowledge in Word (Excel, MS Word, Outlook).

·      Fluent in German and English
