YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, execute, and document test plans, test cases, and test procedures for our flight simulators
- Perform functional, performance, and integration testing of new hardware and software components
- Identify, analyze, and report defects and track their status
- Support the creation of technical documents, including manuals and system descriptions
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to improve product reliability and quality
YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:
- Strong technical background with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aviation Technology, or similar; or practical aviation experience in the helicopter industry (for example, as a pilot or mechanic)
- 3+ years of experience in testing, quality assurance, or validation of complex hardware/software systems, ideally in aviation or simulator industries
- Solid knowledge of flight simulation systems, avionics, and aircraft operations
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking software
- Understanding of industry regulations (e.g. FAA, EASA) related to flight simulators
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in German (min. B2 level) and English
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid work permit for Switzerland or citizenship of an EU/EFTA country (must-have)
