Testing Specialist

As a Testing Specialist, you will ensure the quality, performance, and functionality of our flight simulators through rigorous testing and evaluation. You will work closely with hardware and software engineering and experienced pilots to identify and resolve issues, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.

• Develop, execute, and document test plans, test cases, and test procedures for our flight simulators
• Perform functional, performance, and integration testing of new hardware and software components
• Identify, analyze, and report defects and track their status
• Support the creation of technical documents, including manuals and system descriptions
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to improve product reliability and quality

• Strong technical background with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aviation Technology, or similar; or practical aviation experience in the helicopter industry (for example, as a pilot or mechanic)
• 3+ years of experience in testing, quality assurance, or validation of complex hardware/software systems, ideally in aviation or simulator industries
• Solid knowledge of flight simulation systems, avionics, and aircraft operations
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking software
• Understanding of industry regulations (e.g. FAA, EASA) related to flight simulators
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in German (min. B2 level) and English
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid work permit for Switzerland or citizenship of an EU/EFTA country (must-have)
