Consultant / Senior Ecological Consultant

We're looking for experienced Ecological Consultants and Senior Ecological Consultants to join our growing team, located in or around the West Midlands, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire regions.

Salary: £30,500 - £42,000 dependent on experience, plus paid overtime.

The successful candidate will be involved in the direct project management and delivery of a wide range of projects, including baseline ecological surveys, report writing and mitigation design for planning and biodiversity net gain assessments.

We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in ecological consultancy.

Essential skills and experience include:

• Competency in UK Habitat Classification (UKHab) surveys and assessments.
• Experience of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessment using the Defra Metric.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage workloads, and project delivery.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as the role involves working closely with clients and colleagues.

A valid CSCS card and protected species survey licences would be advantageous but are not essential.
