As a Data Scientist at Eleving Consumer Finance, you will play a pivotal role in turning raw data into actionable insights and scalable models. You will work across departments to design, build, and improve data-driven solutions, contributing directly to our risk evaluation systems, credit models, and customer experience strategies.


YOUR MISSION


  • Extract, process, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources to generate insights
  • Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models and algorithms, especially for credit scoring, fraud detection, and other risk-related purposes
  • Monitor and assess the performance of existing models, continuously enhancing them to improve accuracy and relevance
  • Collaborate closely with risk, legal, and customer service teams to align analytical initiatives with business goals
  • Explore and implement new methodologies in machine learning and data science to solve real-world financial challenges

YOUR PROFILE

  • Higher education in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related STEM field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in data science or advanced analytics, preferably within the financial or risk domain
  • Proficiency in data retrieval and manipulation using SQL, and strong programming skills in R and/or Python
  • Solid foundation in statistics, modeling, and algorithm development
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude
  • Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Advantage: Experience in credit risk modeling and scorecard development.
