YOUR MISSION

  • Build and maintain CDC pipelines from PostgreSQL to the data platform.
  • Develop streaming data pipelines using Spark Structured Streaming and Kafka.
  • Design and optimize Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers following medallion architecture principles.
  • Create and maintain DBT models that power business reporting and analytics.
  • Build and operate Airflow workflows for batch processing and orchestration.
  • Onboard new data sources, tables, and countries into the platform.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability and performance of production data pipelines.
  • Contribute to platform infrastructure, including Kubernetes deployments, Helm charts, and CI/CD.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Finance and Risk teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions.
  • Drive engineering best practices and contribute to architectural decisions that improve the platform's scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5+ years of experience building production data platforms, data pipelines, or distributed data processing systems.
  • Experience designing and operating streaming data pipelines.
  • Strong Python development skills for production applications.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with data transformation frameworks.
  • Experience working with modern cloud data warehouses.
  • Experience building and maintaining workflow orchestration pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of medallion/lakehouse architecture and modern data engineering practices.
  • Experience with version control, CI/CD, testing, and software engineering best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and optimize pipeline performance.


  • Nice to Have
  • Hands-on experience with our technology stack, including Apache Spark, Kafka, dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow.
  • Experience with CDC technologies (e.g., Debezium).
  • Familiarity with modern data lake technologies (e.g., Apache Iceberg).
  • Experience working with cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes-based deployments (e.g., Azure, AKS, Helm, ArgoCD, KEDA).
