YOUR MISSION

As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing data-driven solutions that support credit decisioning, risk management, and business growth across our international markets. You will take ownership of analytical initiatives from concept to implementation, transforming complex data into practical solutions that drive better business outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Taking ownership of credit decisioning initiatives end-to-end, designing and developing technical implementations of risk assessment logic, rules, and algorithms, both for existing products and new market launches
  • Performing ad-hoc analyses to support business decision-making and translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for credit, operations, and product teams
  • Supporting the development of forecasting tools and strategies to mitigate credit and operational risk
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and workflows through automation and data-driven solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Legal, Operations, and Customer Service, to deliver data-driven outcomes
  • Contributing to data quality initiatives and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of analytical outputs



YOUR PROFILE

  • Higher education in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM field
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics engineering, or a related role; experience in fintech, credit risk, or lending will be considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with R is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data modelling
  • Experience with software engineering practices, including writing production-ready code, version control (Git), and working within deployment workflows
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong attention to detail
