Description

As a Business Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our software development projects. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Your ability to analyze business processes, manage project timelines, and communicate effectively will be critical to this role's success.


Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges.  

- Analyze and translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications for the development team.  

- Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.  

- Plan, execute, and oversee software development projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.  

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.  

- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and resource allocation.  

- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.  

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.  


Collaboration & Communication:  

- Facilitate communication between technical teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.  

- Work closely with developers, designers, and QA teams to understand and implement requirements correctly.  

- Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management and clients.  

- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.  


Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, project management methodologies, and delivery practices.  

- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance project outcomes and client value.  


Requirements

- Proven experience (10+ years) as a business analyst, project manager, or similar role within a software development or consultancy company.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.  

- Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools 

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.  

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.  

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.  

- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
