The Role and Key Responsibilities

Over the last 15 years, the company’s arboricultural practice has developed a strong reputation and proven track record as a leader in the field. We offer high quality tree surveys, impact assessments and method statements to support a diverse range of projects and clients, as well as providing a range of specialist arboricultural advice.


We are seeking a proactive and organised Arboricultural Project Administrator to join our friendly, supportive team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the arboricultural consultants, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to our clients. You will work closely with our arboriculture team, managing the day-to-day coordination of projects and handling a variety of administrative tasks.


Specific responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:



  • Assisting in the administration and coordination of arboricultural projects, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are prioritised effectively.
  • Maintaining and updating project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other project management software to track project progress and maintain records.
  • Liaising with team members, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project updates.
  • Providing general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and responding to client enquiries.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to ensure all projects are delivered to a high standard, in line with client expectations.
  • Balancing multiple tasks and prioritise effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Answering the main phone line as member of the Telephone Answering Group for the company.

Skills And Experience

The successful candidate will have:


  • Experience in project management.
  • Excellent team-working skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with members of all Middlemarch departments.
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of overseeing the administration of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A professional manner when interacting with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and be proficient in use Microsoft Office applications.
  • An interest in the natural environment and sustainability.
