Job Mission: To take charge in selling products and services – review, screen and evaluate loan documentation and the process the loan application as per Policies and Procedures set out by the company. Ensure proper completion of all loan documents and verify correct attachments needed as per Underwriting Rules. General customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide information on products and services to clients – need to continually update knowledge on the latest products and all related services.
  • Offer a personalized service to clients and build a lasting relationship based on trust, honesty, and integrity.
  • Help potential clients to discover the best solution to fulfill their needs – educate client on all potential products.
  • Evaluate and assess the credit risk of individual clients, appraise client’s repayment capability before disbursing loans.
  • Create customer accounts in the system / upload all required loan documentation / file accordingly.
  • Process client refunds.
  • Handle client queries and complaints and escalate to Branch Manager when needed.
  • Manage good relationship with Direct Sales Agents (DSAs) who bring in new clients.
  • Meet sales target by maintaining a wide client base.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all information being processed, stored, or accessed.

Requirements

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Established marketing skills necessary for business origination and portfolio monitoring.
  • Previous experience in the field – added advantage.
  • Grade 12 and higher qualifications in related field (finance / banking / management).
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Relevant selling skills.
  • Independent and flexible.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to apply basic calculations.
