YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You create, structure, standardize, and maintain technical documentation for our products, applying modern technical writing methods to ensure clarity and usability.
- You develop a deep understanding of our products and services and translate complex technical content into clear, user-oriented documentation of the highest quality.
- You write, revise, and maintain manuals, operating instructions, and other documentation tailored to the needs of our users.
- You gather and structure information from subject-matter experts to produce clear and well-organized procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- You collaborate with development and support leads to identify documentation requirements, align content with ongoing development, and define efficient solutions for data management and centralized storage.
- You ensure continuous improvement of documentation quality, consistency, and completeness throughout the organization.
YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical field such as engineering or aviation
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technical writer, including documentation aligned with machinery directives and the use of XML-based tools
- Working knowledge of topic-based authoring using a Component Content Management System (CCMS)
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical subjects and translate them into clear documentation
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, including proficiency in technical English
- German skills (minimum B2) are a strong advantage, as they will support your collaboration with internal teams
- Experience collaborating with engineers to improve user experience, refine content, and create supporting visuals and diagrams
- Knowledge of aviation terminology, regulations, and industry standards
- Permission to work in Switzerland is a must
A PLUS WOULD BE:
- Previous experience in project management or coordination roles
- Familiarity with aircraft or simulator systems, maintenance procedures, and engineering concepts
- Proficiency in LaTeX for structured documentation creation
