The Job Role

This is an opportunity to join BID Group Ltd as a Trainee Service Engineer.

 

·        You will assist with the service of industrial doors and associated products.

·        Learn safe working practices, technical procedures and product requirements.

·        Work closely with an experienced engineer at customer sites.

·        Complete training and qualifications needed to progress within the role.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

·        A full UK driving licence — Essential.

·        Previous experience using power tools.

·        A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

·        Flexibility to work overtime when required.

·        A commitment to safe, high-quality work and excellent customer service.

 

Previous industrial door experience is not essential, Full training and career development will be provided. Experience in a similar role or industry would be advantageous. A CSCS card, PASMA or IPAF qualification, welding qualification or forklift truck licence would also be beneficial, but these are not required; relevant training will be provided where needed. The appointment is subject to a criminal record check.

Hours, location and salary

 

Hours:              40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, with overtime as required.

 

Location:     Bolton  

 

Salary:              Starting from £13 per hour dependent on skills and experience.
