Network Support Technician

Summary

The incumbent will provide efficient and prompt support in managing and maintaining the CFCCU’s computer network system (hardware and software).

Duties and Responsibilities

1.      Support the management of the computer network, including all hardware, software, servers, and backup power supplies.

2.      Support the network’s capability to handle the organization’s data operations

3.      Administer virtualization platform data

4.      Assist in systems backups

5.      Monitor and report all WAN issues

6.      Assist with help desk issues

7.      Assist with the internal developer platform

8.      Support database environments (MS SQL, MySQL)

9.      Support IP Telephony environment (SCX)

10.  Support email environments (MS Exchange, Office 365 Email, and other email platforms)

11.  Support the Microsoft Office 365 platform

12.  Monitor and maintain end-user access to external resources

13.  Maintain information system documentation

14.  Assist with delivering excellent service to the members who subscribe to IT-based services by troubleshooting issues as they occur

15.  Perform other related duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements

1.      Associate’s degree in Information Technology or other related field

2.      Competent network certification (such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+)

3.      Five years’ experience in a similar role

4.      Experience in working in a financial institution

5.      Experience in the digital technology field

6.      Knowledgeable in general AI

7.      Knowledgeable in Cybersecurity

8.      Strong interpersonal and communication skills

9.      Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

10.  Advanced organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

11.  Ability to exhibit confidentiality and tact in the execution of duties
