Salary: £27,700 – £38,800 dependent on experience, plus paid overtime

The Role

We’re looking for Ecological Consultants / Senior Ecological Consultants to join our growing team, ideally located in the north west or north east of England. In this role, you will be involved in the management and delivery of a wide range of projects, including baseline ecological surveys for planning, biodiversity net gain assessments and supporting a growing portfolio of exciting habitat banking projects.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with ecological consultancy experience, to include field surveys (habitat survey experience is essential), project management and reporting.


Good interpersonal skills are essential as the role will work closely with clients and colleagues. The ability to work independently is also essential as the role will be home-based, although you will be joining a supportive culture that emphasises collaboration with colleagues.


A valid CSCS card and protected species survey licences would be an advantage, but are not essential.
